Details

Work consisted of 33,500 sq. ft. of new building construction and the complete renovation of an existing building. 12,752 sq. ft. is allocated to a medical clinic (sub-project 3) and a new administration building (sub-project 12). In addition to the aforementioned buildings, 12,000 sq. ft. is dedicated to the renovation of the central health services and general population primary care clinic as well as the installation of holding cells.

Meeting Standards

In the construction of the medical clinic and new administration building, a sizable portion of the project was subject to OSHPD inspection. Completed without any incidents involving the inmates, all construction was subject to CDCR design and security standards.

Environmentally Friendly

This project meets all CalGreen requirements and is expected to be a leader in energy and environmental design.
