At Metro Division 9, Icon West delivered the largest Electric Bus charging infrastructure in Los Angeles, to support the Agency’s goal of zero-emission by 2028.
Details
Total of 110 Electric Bus Charging Facility. Infrastructure consists of providing electrical infrastructure for Electric Buses that are due to replace the current CNG powered LA Metro fleet. Icon West’s scope consists of installing underground and aboveground infrastructure such as duct banks, steel trusses to support the future pantographs, and anchor bolts to accept future charging masts. Further, Icon West was tasked with the installation of approximately 7,000 feet of exterior cable tray to accept the cabling for the pantographs.
