The Inglewood Library was constructed in 1973 and is approximately 70,000 square feet and four stories in height with a rooftop equipment penthouse. This renovation project scope shall consist of upgrades to:
– The building’s structure, including seismic upgrades, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, technology, and other systems; interior partitions; millwork, furniture, finishes, and equipment; signage, wayfinding graphics, and building identification signage. In addition, the scope shall include improvements to the surrounding site, including
- – Fenced trash and delivery areas, ramps, and steps to meet adjacent existing grades
- – Second-level exterior plaza
- – Vertical circulation, including stairs and elevators,
- – Accessibility
- – Fire/life safety
