HIGHLIGHTS: Renovation of the Saxon Suites housing Complex as well as the construction of the new commons building.

DESCRIPTION: Saxon Suites is a 448 bed housing complex with 96 two-bedroom units built in 1981. It was used to house athletes for the 1984 Olympic Games. The current renovation project includes removal and placement of the building’s facades and windows; complete interior renovation of all units; seismic structural upgrades and major improvements to the site hardscape and landscape. The project also includes construction of a new commons building that will contain a multipurpose room and lounge. The building also includes large and multiple group study rooms and management offices. Total site area is 2.2 acres.
