HIGHLIGHTS: This project is to improve and remedy deficiencies in its health care facility components of the health care facility buildings at California Institution for Men and California Institution for Women.

DESCRIPTION: The scope of work includes 33,500 sq.ft. new building construction and renovations of which a 9,500 sq.ft. Clinic in CIW that is subject to OSHPD inspection. The CIM project includes a new 5,261 sq.ft. Medical Administration building and 11,000 sq. ft. of additions and renovations in different specialty clinics.

The project includes a major utility and infrastructure upgrade; An independent fire water system at CIW with 135,000 gallon tank and fire pump, over 7,000 ft. of FW lines and hydrants, a new 3,600 ft fire road, and over 10,000 sq.ft of new walkways..

All construction had to follow CDCR design and security standards.
